General: Razor came to us in October last year when he was sundered at a spayathon we were doing. He had been living in a cage, neglected, starved, abused and forgotten. Thankfully his owner who decided he had now had enough of Razor, decided to surrender him to us on that day. Little did Razor know that was the first day of the rest of his life. His journey and road to recovery could now begin! Since that day he has never looked back. Despite the disgusting way in which he was treated by his former owner - Razor has never held a grudge or shown anything but love towards people. Dogs are like that! Their ability to forgive is amazing. Now in the care of his foster home his belly is always full, he has put on weight nicely (even becoming somewhat of a pork chop) and his coat is healthy and shiny! There is nothing more that Razor loves than hanging out with his foster dad and enjoying a good old fashioned braai with him and getting his special chicken pieces! His foster dad loves him so much but unfortunately cannot keep him long term. Now Sir Raz knows the meaning of love and no longer shys away from hugs. He now can hold his head up high and is no longer the same sad, depressed soul we first found. Razor enjoy's all the comforts and spoils of being an only 4 legged child and would be best if he remained that way. He has progressed to under the covers on the bed and will stay in bed longer than the human do. He would need someone who is around quite a bit as he doesn't like being away from humans for long. He seems good with little children but will attempt to take food from them if at his nose height. This can be taught. He just really needs a chilled home with no expectations of being a guard dog. I think his previous life has really drained him into an old man.
